Naples, at the Threshold
A black-and-white series made in Naples in June 2023. The photographs follow figures suspended between inside and outside: workshops, alleys, stations, rain, ferries and urban passages. Rather than leaning on folklore, the sequence looks for a quieter tension: people paused, turned away or seen in profile, held for a moment at a threshold.
Ballarò, Eyes Down
Sixteen minutes at the Ballarò market in Palermo, on 24 April 2023, with a single focal length. In every photograph the goods fill the foreground and nobody is looking at them: hands work, eyes are elsewhere or on the ground.

About me
My name is Giuseppe, I was born in 1979 and my bond with photography began as a child. I took my first analog photos at the age of ten and, from that moment, the fascination of capturing an instant through light has never left me.
